N2XS2Y are single core copper conductor XLPE-insulated medium voltage cables with a medium density polyethylene (MDPE) or in some cases a high density Polyethylene (HDPE) oversheath.

Conductor: Copper Class 2, circular compacted conductor

Conductor screen: Semi-conductive compound

Insulation: TR-XLPE

Insulation screen: Semi-conductive compound

Water blocking tape: Semi-conductive water blocking tape

Metallic screen: Copper wire and copper tape

Water blocking tape: Swelling tape

Amour: Double side Aluminum/PET Foil

Sheath: HDPE

Standards

IEC 60502-2, IEC 60228,

UV Resistant: ISO 4892-3

Water Resistant: AD8 to EN 60529

Abrasion and Tear Resistant: EN 60229-4.1

Impact rated to: AG2 EN 60364-5.51
